The world of hemp comes with a lot of new language, evolving regulations, and understandably, a few questions. We believe knowing what you're consuming โ how it's made, what it contains, and what to expect โ is part of creating a more intentional relationship with the plant. So we've gathered the questions we hear most often and answered them as simply and transparently as we can. If you don't find what you're looking for, we're always happy to help.
Ordering & shipping
How fast will my order ship?
We pack and ship within one business day of your order landing. Most orders arrive in two to five business days depending on where you are. You'll get tracking by email the moment it leaves us.
Where do you ship?
We ship nationwide, with the exception of states that restrict hemp-derived products. If your state is restricted, checkout will let you know before you pay โ we'd rather stop the order than have it turned back at the border.
How is my order packaged?
Plain, unbranded outer packaging. Nothing on the outside says what's inside. Your products are sealed and cushioned for the trip.
Something arrived wrong or damaged. What now?
Write to us at hello@hivebotanicals.com with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right. Reach out within seven days of delivery so we can trace the batch.

What is hemp-derived THCA?
THCA is the acid form of THC, and it's what the living plant actually produces. In its raw state it doesn't produce the effects THC is known for โ that conversion happens with heat. Our hemp-derived THCA products are grown and processed under the 2018 Farm Bill and test below the federal delta-9 THC limit.
Are your products tested?
Every batch, by an independent accredited lab. Certificates cover cannabinoid content plus screening for pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbials.

How should I store everything?
Cool, dark, sealed. Heat and light are what degrade these products fastest. Extracts and flower do best in a drawer or cupboard rather than a windowsill; tinctures keep well upright in a cabinet.
Legal & compliance
Is this legal?
Our hemp-derived products are federally compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill, which permits hemp and its derivatives containing no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight. Every batch is tested to confirm it.
State law varies and changes. Where a state restricts these products, we don't ship there.
Will this show up on a drug test?
Very likely, yes. Standard drug panels don't distinguish hemp-derived cannabinoids from any other source. If you're subject to testing, don't use these products.
How old do I have to be?
21 or older. We verify age at entry and again at checkout, and we ship to the purchaser only.
